Back to 25 days. Well, my friend, Athi, is a bit of a loner. I mean, she nice and awesome. but a little shy. I just skipped up to her on my first day of school and we were insta-friends. She likes the color red so yeah. She is a bit gothy, but not much. We share the same music taste.
I have a french final tomorrow! AHHH! At least I understand what the french on the set says. Its something along the lines of "I love you more than tomorrow and less than yesterday." I think. Maybe. Well I think this shows just how screwd I am for the final tomorrow.
(Extends hands in prayer motion and whispers) Please have mercy on me Dr. (insert name here).
(Normal voice) Well . . . To explain a certain situation to some people (ahem) I did in fact cred Mimi/BunniesGoRawr for the set idea on the first set (that mimics her style). It right on the bottom. You'll find it if you care to click the little "more" button.
I don't like my appearance. My hair, or my eyes. Their so plain and boring. Dark hair, brown eyes, the average world citizen. (Sigh) My grandfather had blue eyes (which is really weird, he's the only one to ever have blue eyes). I wish I had gotten his eyes instead of these plain brown ones.
I don't like that I'm so shy. Its detrimental to my life. But I just can't seem to get over it. Sometimes I force myself to talk with people so that I can get over it.
I don't like my feet. They are too small and I trip over them all the time. It sucks majorly.
My wardrobe. My mother is stuck in the middle ages and only approves clothes that look like they should be worn in the winter. I've been trying to make her see sense. It is a work in progress.
My handwriting. Its absolutely horrendous. It can be really neat at times, but then it ultra messy. I don't even study from my notebook, I just look at my textbooks or get a study guide from one of my friends.
I obsess over the smallest things. My friends think I have a mild case of OCD. I probably do, I mean I don't think folding the McDonald's wrapper thing into a neat little square is what a person normally thinks.
Procrastination. I am attending my PA meetings, don't worry. (By the way, for those of you who can't read between the lines, PA stands for Procrastinators Anonymous)
There are lots of other thing i don't like about myself. These are the main things that come to mind.
10. Winning the biology Jeopardy! in my first semester.
-This is actually an honor. Every semester, my bio teacher holds a Jeopardy! Biology style. It was preparation for the finals we were about to take. I didn't actually win, because we were in teams of three. So it was my team that won. Suffice to say, I got a good grade on the midterm final anyway.
9. Get an internship at an architecture company.
-One of the possible career choices that I am pondering is architecture. Now I get to see actual people in work! Its a large company too.
8. Get nominated for freshman caucus.
-Caucus is sort of like the school government. I was really surprised when I was nominated, but I didn't want to actually become a part of it. I stepped down and one of my friends became a part of instead.
7. Getting a professional-looking camera.
-Its one of those huge camera that you see photographers walk around with. So yeah . . . I like photography. I haven't shown any to anyone but my art teacher and my best friend.
6. Win an essay contest.
-I've wanted to win an essay contest. It's nerdy, I know. I go to a nerdy school, though, so its okay.
5. Get into one of the best high schools in the US.
-Looking back a year, I doubted that I'd get into my high school. It intimidated me at first. Everyone was saying, "Its competitive," "Its hard, you'll have no sleep." Even the principle said "You get to choose one of two lifestyles. Sleep, a social life, and less than average grades. Or you can choose to have good grades, sleep, but no social life." I'm barely balancing those three out.
4. Finally get a phone.
-My parents are controlling. They say I stray too far. Nuff said.
3. Watched "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" without covering my eyes once.
-The movie is freaky. I know to some it may not be, but I get nightmares easily.
2. Helped fund raise money for Japan by participating in the school talent show.
-I'm lazy. And moderately shy. I don't like going in front of people. Just not my thing. So this is the first time I did something like that.
1. Tell my boyfriend I love him.
-I really do love, but I just don't like saying things like that out loud. It was really difficult to say. It was a big no factor in when I was growing up. My parent disprove of him. It may seem like no big deal, but I believe that if something is worth knowing then someone should know. I really love him, he's different from other guys.

01. Write about yourself.
How this set describes me:
The guitar symbolizes my obessions with music. The film strip is my other obsession, photography. The little pink passport is my key to traveling the world. Thats pretty much what makes me up these days.
Well, there is not much to say. I'm just a girl living in New York City, working her butt off in school. My birthday just passed by on April 24th. I love music, its pretty much makes up my soul, other than art. I was going to go to an art school but at last minute decided against it. Life is pretty boring for me, my family is not too special. I don't even go out anymore because of the workload in my high school [damn you bio teacher!!]. I'm taking the bio SAT in June so I have to go to a program for the next few weeks. It sucks arse because t ends at 7 pm and I'll get home around 9ish when I usually finish my homework.
******The outfit on this set is exactly what I wore today!!. Well except it was a different gray blazer.
